Four Blatantly Obvious Fraudulent Transactions Authorized by PayPal

Why can we instantly see that a transaction is fraudulent while PayPal does not and why is every address shown as confirmed if it's not an address on the buyer's account?

What do we do here? Ship? Cancel and forfeit the PayPal fees? Wait for the buyer to contact PayPal?

Hello @UnauthorizedUse,

Welcome to the PayPal Community! This is a great question. I would say we would handle this on a case by case basis. With PayPal fees no longer being reversed, I can certainly understand how this is more pertinent than ever. If you feel that a buyer is fraudulent, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Support to discuss the matter further with one of our specialists. However, I can speak to our Security System which performs multiple checks prior to the transaction even being processed, that this should not be a common occurrence.

You can reach our Customer Support over the phone, by email, or by chat (when available) by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website. They're also available through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message.

Thank you for reaching out, I hope that helps!
