Firstly its against paypal rules to sell and accept payment via the friends / family route as you are evading paying paypals fee and trying to negate your buyers protection.

Secondly whilst it does stop a buyer being able to open a paypal dispute for non receipt of item OR item not as described as they would have no buyer protection, they are still allowed to open one for an unauthorised transaction OR a chargeback and they would win as you would have no seller protection as you accepted a gift payment using the friends / family option (so seller protection would not be needed for a gift payment).

You also risk your paypal account being permanently limited for using that option to sell goods.
