change address and link it to the cards

In changing my residential address and linking it to the cards I get the error message: "we weren't able to save your changes. Please try again" with no effect. How can I solve this issue. It is more than 2 days I am trying without any success. Please note that the financial institutes that issued the cards have already been informed about the new address.

I am sorry to know that you're having issues changing the address. Please be informed that if you're trying to add the address on the PayPal account, you will first have to update the address on the card issuer and then update it on the PayPal account. Make sure that the current billing address has been updated in their system. It is possible that your financial institution is yet to update the address which is why you're getting this error. If address has been successfully added/updated and still facing this issue, you can contact our Customer Support Team through the available contact options on our website for further assistance.

Actually this did not solve my problem. I manged to find a solution on my own, but I reckon that the PayPal IT needs fixing the system. So, in my case the system was preventing me to change the address of my cards because one of them was expired. So I had to remove from the system the expired card and then I was able to change the address for the other card. I understand that the system was returning an error because one card was expired, but the message of the error was not meaningful at all and the other thing is that I could not individually change the address for each card but the operation needed to be executed cumulatively for all of them. I do not understand why. Regards
