Resetting of Phone and Bank Account From UK to India

Hi, I had opened a Paypal account in UK many years ago. Didn't operate it extensively at all. Now, I am in India and want to re-activate my Paypal account, but after resetting my password, it is sending a security code to my UK phone number, which I no longer use and is most probably deactivated. This has essentially locked me out of my own account.

What can I do to gain access to my account and change all the UK details in it like phone number and bank account details to the relevant Indian ones.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.
