Ramifications of switching to a business account

Hey all. I've used Paypal to make purchases for a long long time. Though I have been reluctant to sell anything on eBay. So, am I an idiot, thinking that if I ever sell on eBay then I would have to switch to a business account and I would never again be able to make personal purchases with Paypal free of fees?

As buyers do not pay fees then it would make no difference which account type you used for buying.

As for ebay, you still don't need a business account.

You only need a business account if you are a registered business / high volume seller / OR ebay or paypal request you to upgrade.
