Im wanting to switch my paypal account type from business to personal.

Im wanting to either close my account and reopen it as a personal account or downgrade my account from buisness to personal. It wont let me close my account either. it says "something went wrong" and "Your account has a negative balance that you’ll need to take care of before you can close your account''. Hopefully you guys can help me.

I see you're looking to downgrade your Business account to Personal account. You can contact PayPal support team to submit a downgrade request of your PayPal account. Contact options to reach Support team can be available in this article. Please note that you shouldn't have any negative balance to process your downgrade request. You can find the information to clear the negative balance in your PayPal account here.
