Personal account and Business account together or separate?

I am planning to start a marketplace app.

Since I need to send/receive payment, should I start with a Personal account or go to Business? Can I have two different accounts or add the company email to the current personal account?

Thank you for contacting community. 

I see you've questions about sending and receiving money for business reasons. If you're setting up a business, it is recommended to create a Business account. You can use your personal account for your personal reasons. In order to send out invoices, bills and receive money for sales you can set up a PayPal Business account with a new email which is not linked to any other account of yours. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer @pkkh Another doubt, if I want to start with a personal account for the MVP and first phase. I have the domain and business email, should I create another personal account for the marketplace and then later upgrade that one to business or use my personal account and add the business email as a second email? Thanks!

Hi @williamcabrera4,

Thank you for your reply! Personal and Business accounts do behave a little differently. If you're planning to receive any personal payments (not payments for Goods and Services), you will need a Personal account separate from the Business one. This is also important if you intend to use banks in your personal name, as a bank attached to the Business account would be in the Business name.
