I suspect my account has been comprimised. Can't login/recover password, etc.....

I haven't been able to log in to my account ever since I got an email from paypal telling me some changes to my account have happened. Changes I did notmake. I've tried password and/or email recovery and all I get is an "a problem happened on our end. Please try again" message. Tried different browsers, different computers, cleared cache, etc..and nothing helped. I made this new account just so I can post here, and I had no issues logging in.

Does anyone have a clue where I should turn next?

Contact customer services:

  1. https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us
  2. Click Password and account access
  3. Click Report unauthorized access or unknown charges
  4. Click Call Us after the “This information might help” box.

Hopefully they can still find your account through the previous account info since there was changes made.
