How can I block someone asking for money

I need to block someone who is not a friend from asking me for money frequently. How do I do that?

I'm sorry to hear that you are receiving unwanted payment requests. I am not certain that there is a way to block payment requests if the person already knows your email address or phone number, however, you may want to try these steps.

Unfortunately the steps on PayPal only work for someone who is in your contact list.
