2Fa authentication issue

Paypal has told me that they blocked my password for security reasons and that I need to reset my password now, however this has been causing me big issues.
First of all, when I try to reset the password by clicking I forgot my passwords, it tells me I need to use a verification code, so I used my number. The problem with that is I did not receive any verification code whatsoever, I even made sure to see if it was a problem on my side but it wasn’t.
So then, I went on my laptop and tried logging in there and this time used log in with app. This also did not work as I am not currently logged in on the app.
I have now tried the verification a few times now and still did not receive the text, and now when I try to log in, there are no authentication methods to use, instead it says ‘no method’s available’.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues logging into your account, and thank you for detailing what you've tried so far. Based on what you've already stated, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams by clicking Contact at the bottom of any PayPal page and then searching for login problems in the dialogue box at the top. From there you should see the available options to contact support toward the bottom of the page.

I had the same problems since i week, it's a big problem i always receive the SMS but this last 4 days is a complete mess-up, even the support when the tried to call me the can't reach me, i end up asking them to remove the 2FA verification from my account so i can login.
Hope they fix he problem soon, and it's better for PayPal to use phone numbers on the same user countries to send 2FA code, rather than use international one.
