Hey there AndyE,
The two small amounts can take up to 5 working days to show on your statement. As you can see they were requested on the 8th, when u posted this comment only 3working days had passed.
They should be showing by close of business this evening. Let us know if they show by then.

i tried to list a new item on ebay on 28th march however it wouldnt let me and said i needed to verify my paypal account. I went through all steps and added my mum's bank account, they said they would add two small amounts into the bank, however its been a week and still there has been no money put into the bank.

Hi there, just to remind you, adding your bank alone does not send out the random deposits. You have to request the deposits be posted to your bank. You can do this by logging into your PayPal account and selecting “Profile” – “add or edit bank”.

I followed the 'Profile- Add or remove bank' process and the only option from here which made sense was "confirm" at the bottom. This took me to a page which shows 3 steps and "deposit not sent" which i have viewed already multiple times over the last week and a half.
Just wondering where exactly I request that the deposits be sent?
It is frustrating to be told I should wait just 2-3 working days, then come onto discussion boards to read that actually this isn't necessarily the case.
Apologies if I seem grumpy, it just seems that quite a few people have this problem!
Thanks.

Hi Alixe1711,
I fully understand your frustration as I realise that you may be unsure of what exactly you need to do to try and confirm your bank account.
My best advice for you would be to try and confirm your bank account and when you see the three different steps on your screen, you will see a Set up direct debit link. By clicking this link, you can then enter your information on screen and then try to confirm your bank account.
I hope this helps,
David.

thank you! didn't realise the 'set up direct debit' link was to be followed before the deposits went through, silly me 😛
