I have tried to verify my account and paypal say that my card/bank account is assigned to another account which I have never authorised, How do I resolve this please. Many thanks

Hi Kennyb1965,
I can only imagine the inconvenience that this must be causing you as you can't register your own bank account to your PayPal account.
If you have contacted us to advise us of the problem, we will investigate it on your behalf and try to have your bank account removed from the other PayPal account for you. If there is anyone else in your household that may have had access to your bank account information, you should also check with them to see if they may have registered your bank account on a PayPal account.
In the mean time, there is nothing more that you can do apart from wait until your bank account has been removed from the other account so that you can register it on your current PayPal account.

Thanks very much for your advice. It looks as though youre right so I must just sit and wait for tis inconvenience to run its cause. I have of course allowed paypal to investigate fully and prosecute the person accountable for this fraudulent act. Hope they get caused as much, if not more, inconvenience than myself.

Hi,
I have the same problem, however, I know that i did use my bank account a while ago for paypal, I then closed the account and now ive opened one again, and im trying to use my bank account but it wont let me verity. This doesnt make sense, as i cancelled my account a while ago, so it should be off the system by now. If you could tell me who to contact in order to my account details removed, so i can resubmit them again , I would be grateful 🙂 thanks! xxx
