I had an email from Paypal, asking for immediate attion.
"You’re receiving this notification because you’ve been identified as a merchant who has used IPN endpoints within the past year. If you have not made the necessary changes, we urge you to do so right away to avoid a disruption of your service!"
It goes onto say things like "testing the sandbox" what is that??
About getting in touch with "consult with your individuals responsible for your PayPal integration" who are they??
As far as I know I am not a merchant, I sell very rarely, I uses paypal to mainly to buy,
The email says something about endpoints?? I really do not have a clue.

I have also received this email. I thought it was a scam to start with and therefor referred it through the spoof email. There is no sensible info on the Paypal help pages about this. In fact a search of help for IPN yeilds not a single return. I have no idea what it means for me, even though I have carefully read through the PDF and microsite. I need help here. The language is - to say the least of it - opaque in the email, the PDF and the microsite. For goodness sake, please clarify what on earth you are talking about. At one point the microsite suggests that if my site is hosted then it is my ISP that has the obligation here. Well - if I were to "reach out" to my British ISP as suggested and offer them this bundle of gobblegook I'd not doubt be noted as a freak incapable of speaking plain English.
Please help, speaking in plain English, as swiftly as possible.

I found this info, still don't make sense to me, I don't do webpages and so on.
I sent it to the spoof email as well, I am at a total lost of what I am expected to do.

paypa- this is utter poo. I am getting this mail also. I mailed your help address and got some standard no useful reply about loggin in. this is unacceptable- do i really have to call up and go through the verification process to get a non specific specific question answered ?
Q- Where do I find the IPN setting that I have for my account links to a wesbite I receievce payments from?
I do not neeed anything that may compromise my accounts, just generic advice as to how to access this feature in my own control panel. I can maintan it myself when I am in there
I cannot find this anywhere on my profile, your help section is kafkaesque and evasive. Please assist. It cannot be that difficult
thanks
