Hello everyone
As the title says I am new to PayPal.
I'm a born and raised southern girl. My husband says I'm "as country as dirt". I'm not very tech savvy, so it may take some time for me to get accustomed to the way things work here. I will do my best to keep up.
I have a quiet home life and that suits me just fine. Although with 3 dogs in the house quiet time isn't always
easy to come by. But they are my babies and it just wouldn't be the same without them.
I've wanted to be able to work at home and have my own business. Well, not even 2 months into 2012 and I've already got both. Mind you I'm still making improvements but my 1st online store is up and running. I feel that this is going to be a good year for me.
It would seem, in my opinion, that I spent the majority of last year dealing with a lot of loss and crying so much. I'm determined to keep my new years resolution which was to laugh more and cry less in 2012. So far this year is off to a great start.
Well, that's me. Hope to make happy friends here. My name is Beadlynx (aka Lily).

Hi Beadlynx,
Welcome to PayPal and the Community! 🙂
Congratulations on your new business and online store. 2012 is looking to be a great year and I hope your business takes off.
What types of dogs do you have? I have a Shepherd Mastiff mix. She's big but also a big coward.
Thanks for introducing yourself.

Hi .
Thanks for the response.
To answer your question, my dogs are small, medium, and large.
Small chihuahua, medium rat terrier, and large pit bull. Quite an odd mix I know, but they all get along well with each other despite the occasional fuss over toys.

Good luck to you! North West Alabama is pretty southern. Is where I'm from. Hope your business does well. I'm araid to even start doing it. As my user name says, itmakescents2me. Maybe when I start selling it will be more than a few cents.
LOL!

Welcome, itmakescents2me!
I really like your forum handle. It's clever!
Besides, what are dollars but a collection of a LOT of cents? When you become more successful, you'll still be making cents, just much, much more of them! 🙂

Hello Olivia,
Thanks for the warm welcome! My user handle itmakescents2me was well thought out because of the items I am selling on eBay. Since I have always collected coins and it was time to sell some of my collection, it made sense too me
to give eBay a try. Indian head and wheat pennies are a hot commodity on abbey have had a couple of successful auctions with positive feedback and just listed three more. I also add in my description, "My policy is.... "Honesty is the best policy...itmakescents2me. There is a learning curve in using all of the eBay and PayPal tools so I advise any new member to go slow, check all the right boxes, use the community answer center for help. It's all now starting to make sense to me.
Thanks
Barry

That's very good advice, and that's a great policy to have. Welcome to PayPal, and please do stick around the forums and continue to share your experiences and perspectives!
