small or large flat rate boxes

Why does paypal only have automatic presets for Medium-Flat Rate boxes?  Why not Small- or Large-Flate Rate boxes?  How does one make the paypal system accept the Small- or Large- usps flat rate boxes?

I have the exact same question.  I want to ship using a small flat rate box for ebay and USPS, but I only get the option for the flat rate envelope or medium box.

I am going to try and send a SMALL FLAT RATE BOX by using a Flat Rate Envelope shipping label and see what the outcome is as they are the same rate. I will post you next week with results as I see that your question has not yet been answered by anyone.

Many eBay sellers are using eBay shipping, or USPS Click n Ship for the small flat rate box, or large flat rate box.

I would prefer to continue using Paypal's multi-order shipping, so it would behoove them to add these two box sizes to their shipping program.

Paypal stated, why back when, that the Large FRB would be added, and that was YEARS ago!

Just made my first sell on ebey that was supposed to be shipped in a small flat rate box and being new to selling on eBay this was a surprise. I posted the cost for a small flat rate box and had to pay for a medium. I lost money using paypal because of this. They need to do something about this not every one lives next door to the post office or has a shipping scale.

Use the Flat Rate envelope option for the small flat rate box,  It should ship just fine.  eBay's shipping service provides for a large FR box I believe, as well as Click n Ship.

The small and large boxes are not available on PayPal. The answer I have gotten is [ sound of crickets chearping  ]

USPS will not ship a small flat rate envelope label on a small flat rate box.

Your USPS clerk was having a bad hair day.  If the DMM has specific rules about this, they are dumb, as the rates and weights are the same.  You could always go outside and drop it in the mail slot.

~ print the label for FR envelope, then cross out the word envelope and write in the word box.  That should make them happy.  If you continue to have problems, then use eBay shipping, Click n Ship, or another service that provides the package service you need.  It won't be found on PayPal unfortunatly.

I made out a FR envelope label last night.  I changed my mind and decided to ship the order in a box instead.  When I told my clerk what I did, she verified the weight (it was under one pound) and scratched out the 'flate rate envelope' on the label and told me I was good to go.

I have used a Flat Rate Envelope label on a Small Flat Rate Box many times.  I went into the post office to ask if it was ok and they said yes.  I have not had any problems with this.

It has worked for many and maybe if they get enough of the flat rate envelope labels on sm flat rate boxes they will finally fix the problem. Is it possible it is as annoying for the postal system as it is for us. Why should we pay double for the only other available shipping option just because someone is too lazy to get the legal option working.
