small or large flat rate boxes

Why does paypal only have automatic presets for Medium-Flat Rate boxes?  Why not Small- or Large-Flate Rate boxes?  How does one make the paypal system accept the Small- or Large- usps flat rate boxes?

In my case, I found out that if I ship through Paypal it costs me more as they kept charing a transaction Fee.  Someone else in this thread suggested to switch Ebay Account Settings and setup Ebay shipping.

Ebay Shipping has two advantages over Paypal shipping:

It presents the Small Flat Rate Box

It does not include a transaction fee which means 4.80 means 4.80 and no added cost

My recommendation is to change you Ebay setting and enable Ebay Shipping.  Labels are identical and you will be able to print Small Flat Rate Boxes

When this happens to me I just go to USPS website and print a label, its not hard to do.

I agree with Kimmie - just go to usps.com and print your label there!  It's quite obvious that PayPal really doesn't care about its customers.  I just sold my first item on eBay and learned the hard way too.  I printed out a Flat Rate Envelope/Package label, was charged incorrectly for $4.80 instead of $4.95 for Priority Mail that's 1 lb. 8 oz.  The buyer of your item still pays you for the postage via PayPal, but you can transfer those funds to your checking account.  It's a little bit of a hassle, but at least you can print the correct postage at usps.com!  Karen

PayPal...please just add the proper items to the flat rate pull down menu! How hard can it be?

In the mean time I am going directly to the USPS site to make the labels...Paypal you are losing whatever extra kickback you could possibly get from each shipped item not only from me but from everybody. 

Say you are getting $0.25 for each potential package, and you have say 2500 possible users a day, that's over $250000.00 a year! Certainly enough to pay some executives salery. 🙂

I had the same problem. I contacted PayPal via telephone and they referred me to ebay.  You can ship through eBay instead of PayPal by doing the following on eBay.  You get a discount via PayPal for the medium box but none for the others - they told me that is why they don't access small or large.

On eBay, go to My eBay,

then Account,

then site preferences,

The Shipping Preferences,

The select  "Pay for shipping and print U.S. Postal Service labels on eBay",

I had a customer serice person on the phone when I did this and they said that someone at ebay needs to activate this feature so perhaps you should try it but if it doesn't work call them.  For some reason I also had to clean out my cookies and cache before it would work.  They gave me instructions as to how to do so. Now I can print all size shipping Labels.

So I went to USPS website and used click-n-ship and paid for the label with a credit card since it didn't allow paypal.  Now I don't know how to proceed to clear it off my ebay account.  Soes anyone have any suggestions so I can procedd to get this transaction through ebay?

In My Ebay, Click SOLD column, go to item, click SHIPPED box.  EASY.   🐵
