After reading multiple posts in the forum, I decided to set up a "tip button" on my author and illustrator blog using Paypal's donate button feature. I specifically say that the donation is going to my blog. I want to leave it to the reader to determine how much they want to donate if they feel so obliged.
The button works great on a computer. I even used a button design I created myself. I like the fact that the reader is given a blank field to fill in. On the mobile version, however, three boxes show up with suggestions of large sums. How do I make these suggestions go away? I find the amounts a huge turnoff, and I am sure my readers would feel the same.
