I've started a business 4 months ago, right now we're rebuilding our website and figuring out how to set up payment integration. I've done research on Square and PayPal and I'm trying to figure out which one is best for me. My business connects companies with independent contractors. We charge a monthly fee to companies and take 10% on transactions. It's analogous to UpWork or kind of like Fiverr. I understand that PayPal has many different programs and I'd like to understand which one would be best.
Here are the functionalities that I'm looking for:
- The ability to have lots of different payments from many different companies, paying different independent contractors on a weekly basis
- Allowing recurring charges due to our subscription fee
- Ensuring that it would be simple to take 10% on transactions
- I'm also looking for a considerable amount of automation
