Pending payment from PayPal to my own bank account

Yesterday morning (01/29/10) I made a payment from my PayPal account to my own verified bank account. It's now been more than 24 hours and the payment is still pending. I'm a single mom, who is struggling to make their payments and I'm partially living off of the income online. This is the first time I'm actually making a PayPal transaction from someone who paid me. Why is this taking so long? And it took already forever until they paid me, I'm an independent contractor, whose work first needs verified, before I get paid. We haven't had much food on the table the last few days and if I'm not making at least a good faith payment on my college tuition until next Friday (02/05/10) I will have collections knocking on my door. Why is this taking so long? This is ridiculous. It's my money... please, help.

I know how you feel. It is discusting how they are controlling our money.

I also made a withdrawl yesterday to my bank account, I used the fast service, which I had to pay a £5 fee for.

I am also still waiting for the money to go to my bank. When I look at my paypal account it ust says "Pending". In other words paypal have not sent it yet!

If it says pending, then paypal have not yet completed the process their and considering they are computerised they should be able to do this in seconds.

There should be some thing we can do to  make them sort out this riddiculously slow transfer proccess.

If you transfer money from your bank account to someone elses bank account on line it is instant now day, so what is PayPals's problem.

Seems to me that they just want to hold your moeny as long as they can to gain more interest from it.

My advise is DO NOT PAY PAYPAL FOR FASTER TRANSFERS, THEY ARE NOT FASTER!!

I do hope you get your money soon, please let me know how long it takes.

Cheers
