I sold some 9ct gold jewellery to a buyer. She paid with PayPal. a few days later she said that the one of the items was not as described, I beg to differ but still. She asked for a full refund. I asked her to agree to cancel the sale and she did. I said I would send her a refund and would like my item returned. She then sent me an invoice via PayPal for the full amount she had paid to me. As a good will gesture, and I am not a business seller, I paid her invoice and awaited the return of my item. It has not arrived. I messaged her 3 times and was told it was sent to me. I messaged her again yesterday and she replied that the post office had returned it to her as they could not read my address, even though she says she wrote it very clearly. HUH!! She now claims that she has re-posted it by registerd post but they never gave her a tracking number, what sort of mug is she taking me for!! She says now that she will get me a tracking number today. She has now left me feedback, but on a cancelled sale I don't understand how, which says" Thanks alot great service quick delivery". Why the devil would she do that? I do not know what to do now, Is she haveing a laugh?? Does any one think that I should believe her or has she stolen my jewellery? Should I send her an invoice for the £160 which I refunded to her with a message saying that if I do not recieve a refund of my refund or my items back that I will be going to the poplice. or what??? Some one help me please. Thank you.
