Payment has been on hold after i shipped package?

About a week and a half ago, i shipped a gameboy that i sold on ebay. After about 5 or 6 days, i contacted the person that i sent the gameboy too via ebay mail and they said to me that they got it and would leave feedback. When i shipped the package, i didnt use a printable shiping label, i just went to the post office and wrote down the adress of my buyer. Now even after contacting my buyer, my funds are still being held and i dont know why or what i can do in order to get my money for the gameboy. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ok....so here's the deal now...My psycho buyer from eBay after all of this puts a claim up on me to eBay and paypal...paypal takes the money out of my account and this nutjob has my $350 brand new ps3 at her house which she says was missing the remote....came in factory sealed box Never opened two games and a racing wheel!!!  Now the crazies think they can get away with pulling this BS because they let them and keep my product by pulling some BS claim!!! Can you believe this....

Sometimes Buyers don't even leave feedback for the sellers, what happens then, I have been a seller on Ebay since 07. Guess what, after I get my money on these last items I have sold which aren't suppose to be released to me until 01/30/10, I am deleting ebay account and paypal account, I am going somewhere else to sell. They buyer pretty much gets the item/s we have sold them for free. ERRRR....

Everybody is right! Interest is drawn on withheld funds, ****** is notorious for doing this!!!!!

Completely Agree.  It will be the last time I use Ebay or Paypal.  Hello Craigslist.

I sold an iten, Buyer says please ship asap.  I do so.  The item gets there in two days and two days later no feedback.  My funds are still pending.  Paypal won't release the fund until three days has passed since the delivery date.  Always get delivery confirmation.  This way they can see it's been delivered.   Now I have to send them a message.  This is very ridiculous.  I'm going to start selling on Amazon. 

E-bay isn't what it used to be.

This paypal thing is a joke. I sold 3 books and payment was confirmed on all. However, they are holding payment on 2 items. And there is no good way to talk withthem about it. This is enough for me; won't be using this again. They zap your money right away when you buy an item, however, they don't have any problems holding your money when you sell an item. BOO

Paypal and ebay have lost another customer over this.  Bad policy and I'm sure that their business is going to die over it.   I am out my merchandise and shipping until buyer leaves feedback, something I have no control over.

Way to go paypal.

This 21 day is complete BS.I sold 2 items on the same day,one is completely paid for and in my bank,the other is limbo because of this 21 day interest bearing account for PayPal.Can I cancel that winning bid and second chance the item.Is this PayPal or the buyer doing this?

I agree with you 100%, Pay pal is insane and greedy!

        I sold two items and they where put on hold with payment, Five days

later buyer cancelled payment because he felt i didn't want the money

because I didn't claim it!   Didn't claim it paypal wouldn't let me have access to

it!  I lost the sale and paypal only had the money for 5days and allowed buyer

to cancel. I the had to relist items and NOW paypal again is holding funds

and I have to send out item without being paid! How can I trust paypal

I mean they let a buyer take back money! What if the item was sent out!

I would be out $80 , and paypal reply was Oh! we can put a claim and

wait to see what happens. Are they insane? I'm suppossed to send out

item and have faith I'll get paid!

     On top of this the second item sold and paypal put it through

the wrong email and now buyer has to cancel transaction and

I have to explain what happened to buyer. So, I'm out another

$57 . But paypal doesn't care , i wasn't even allowed to change

my email to fix this problem..

      Paypal is to me a greddy company. They hold Funds for 21 days,

WHY SO THEY CAN FORM ACCOUNT AND GAIN INTEREST ON YOUR
MONEY AND ON TOP OF THIS THEY CHARGE YOU FEES!
CHA CHING!  GREDDY GREDDY GREEDY, I can believe they get

away with this, what the heck is going on with them!

Your better off using CRAIGSLIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are combatting some type of fraud which may have occurred, however, it should not affect us.
