More than balance... except not.

I'm trying to buy something on Steam, after I click the "Begin Paypal Payment" button, it routes me to the paypal site, as expected.
So I enter my Paypal information, and then it logs me in.
However, it tells me the purchase ($9.48) is greater than my balance ($10.00), which it is not. It tells me to input my bank account information, and I don't want to do that for three reasons.
1) The less information I put on the internet, the better.
2) I don't have much money in my bank account, so I couldn't get it verified without overdrawing. (I have like $.03 in my acc.)
3) I shouldn't have to put in information if I already have money in my paypal account.
This is ridiculous. I'm getting sick of this site and it's stupid errors.
If a site is going to deal with money like this, it had better do it correctly.

You would need to contact PayPal's Customer Service for an answer. It does appear to be strange that you have sufficient funds in your Account. Unfortunally there's not much the volunteer forum members can help you with.
