History Search Unavailable--Is Paypal simply Ignoring this issue?

I am officially joining the ranks of the thoroughly frustrated with Paypal's unwillingness to deal with or even acknowledge the infernal "History Search Unavailable. Try again Later" message that we've been dealing with for so long now. I've seen posts in other forums where this problem was being discussed as far back as 2007, and the only response anyone gets from customer service is the usual "reboot, clear your cookies, try another browser, try another computer" answer. One person did apparently get an acknowledgement of the problem, with a response of "we don't know when it will be fixed."

 

I've never had any problems with Paypal in the past other than this, but this issue is really starting to make me think I should look elsewhere for online credit card payment processing. If Paypal simply chooses not to deal with an issue that so many of it's users are describing, I shudder to think what could happen if I actually did have a problem with a payment or my account.

I am now having the same problem.  I contacted them and they are going to send me a link for my history within 24 to 48 hours.  I can't imagine that it is that hard to send a link and fix the problem.

I've contacted them several times over the past 2 years over this and they still haven't solved it for me. I can see my transactions for the past week, but after that they are gone. I can call cust service and they can see them. They tell me there's no problem, but they will forward the service request to their higher ups. Then I never hear back. I don't think the customer service is run well at all.

I am having the same problem and am SO frustrated! I have contacted Paypal multiple times- and having issues with those that I speak with- understanding me and vice versa- but it seems to me they are not trying to fix this issue. My husband is a programmer and says this should be easy to fix- not taking YEARS!

I keep getting the message"increase your date range for better reasults" I have called and emailed Paypal about this problem. I received a return email that said "Thanks for your email. You can expect to hear back from us with an
answer to your question within : 010 hours. " That was almost 36 hours ago. I have also talked to agents on the phone at 2 separate times and have done what they told me, but it does not help. Frustated as H--l!!!!

I am also experiencing this problem - it would be nice if PayPal at least ACKNOWLEDGED that there was an issue!

I too just started having this issue, not being able to retrieve my past account history and when I call customer service they barely speak english. Pay Pal is now becoming just another useless business that has absolutely no concern for their customers!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrr now this really makes me angry. I have tried to get history from August 2009 and can only go back to November. WAKE UP PAYPAL AND ADDRESS THE ISSUE OR LOSE YOUR CUSTOMERS!
