BUYERS CAN'T PAY

Lately buyers have complained to me that PayPal has refused their payments to me.  I went into my account to look for errors but found none.  My email is correct, I have a premium account with current credit card on file but they said my account had my email spelled wrong on their attempt to pay.  First buyer had to manually enter my email address twice before it would finish accepting the payment.  Now another buyer tells me PayPal won't let him pay.  Anyone else having this happen to them?

Your email address might have changed in your listings or in your profile, if you're selling on ebay.

Look for the "Site Map" link that the bottom of ebay pages, then look for the link to "Change my email".  Re-enter your email, then check your listings to make sure the proper email address is in them.

Site map and 'change my email' indicated that my email is correct.  I sent message to myself from 'ask seller a question' and I get it ok so I don't think there's anything wrong with the email address itself.  First buyer showed me PayPal response where my address had a letter missing and was .com instead of .net.  Said they paid with the Pay Now button.  Maybe they have viruses on their computers?

It appears that you misspelled your PayPal email address (used .com instead of .net) in the payments section of your eBay listing. To check which PayPal email address was used in the eBay listing, click on the "Relist" link for that item and look in the payments section for the PayPal email address.

If you have access to that email address, login to your PayPal account and "Add" the email address to your account. The payment will show up right after you confirm the email address.

If you do not have access to that email address, you will need to ask the buyer to cancel the payment and resend the payment to your correct email address. Send the buyer a PayPal invoice (Request Money) from your PayPal account to make it easier for the buyer to pay.

For future eBay listings, make sure you have the correct PayPal email address in the payments section of each listing... here's a screen shot of that section of the eBay "Sell Your Item" form...

You're correct.  That's where the mistake is.  I filled that in years ago and haven't had to bother with it since.  It auto fills when I write my auctions so it's a mystery to me how it got changed.
