Are PAYPAL & EBAY going to get away witht heir greedy tactics???

It is a shame that paypal and ebay might get away with their greedy tactics to hold the sellers money for 21 days. How do they expect the flow of fast shipments to continue??? Some people have already been **bleep**ed by sending items before the 21 days and buyer cancelling. Problems and headaches.

YOU GUYS ALREADY SAW WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE GREEDY BANKS THE LAST 3 YEARS. If you want to continue to give money to them that is your choice. I choose to be a smart seller and going for credit cards through another dealer. This gives other competitors a great chance to provide a better service!

Can you tell me about these other companies that you plan to use? I'd like to keep buying from Ebay because it's convenient, but I've had mare fair share of crap from Paypal, and I'd really like to branch away from them.

They are, in fact, violating their own policies and I would not be surprised if a class action suit was not already in the works for the people who have lost not only product $$, but in some cases, their house/car/bank account/etc because of this policy.  This is nothing more than corporate greed and the refusal to back up there guarantee.  I SMELL LAWSUIT!!!!

They are not violating their own policies.

Ebay and paypal both have the 21 day hold policy in their user agreements.

Also the funds are released sooner that 21 days, when the D/C shows delivery OR the buyer leaves feedback.

Also sellers are given a warning when listing

As a seller you are saying Paypal and eBay are not being fair. ( Holding your money ) It is not your rights to get money before you send the items.

You don't need feedback to have the hold released.

You need online viewable D/C showing the delivery of the item OR feedback left.

The hold is usually released with 72 hours of the D/C showinf delivery OR the feedback left.

You should be shipping with D/C for seller protection anyways

72 hours after the D/C shows delivery.  Not after you print the postage.

As a buyer ,Paypal is saving my money from sellers that do not send items . And in your wrigtings you have wrighten about not sending items for a numbuer of days becuse Paypal was holding money. when you sold the items(on eBay) did you tell the buyer that you did not wont to send the items tell Paypal gave you the money.  The point of holding the money is to make you send the items. and on time.   Think about it , It s not all about you.   THANK YOU PAYPAL.

greed indeed.  i dont mind waiting alittle longer if people would actually LEAVE FEEDBACK!  save this horrid **bleep** for bad sellers.  not perfect sellers like myself.
