so im getting used to not being able to access my money straight away when i make a sell on ebay, but what is frustrating me is they say if you provide proof of postage or receive positive feedback then they will release the funds, well i always post the tracking information through paypal and i have checked and all my items i posted have been received so why is my money still on hold? they say the whole hold policy is to protect buyers in case they receive a bad item or dont receive an item and then paypal can easily provide a refund so how come as a buyer i purchased something on ebay which turned out to be counterfeit and now i am struggling to get a refund???itseems like you are not protected either way!im getting very fed up as the hold policy seems to be a complete farce and they say it is only for the 1st 90 days of you being a seller, well if that is the case whats to say a seller wont spend their first 90 days being a brilliant seller but then when they are out of the hold period start ripping people off it makes no sense!!

Hello, yes the 90 day period is painful for sellers. But if someone is selling well for 3 months with no issues, then the likelihood is that they will attempt to continue that way. That time frame will also allow sellers to get used to the world of selling, feedbacks and dealing with customers. It’s a learning curve and we hope that most would see it that way.

I created a petition to prevent PayPal from holding funds. PayPal has been holding every payment that I receive for 3 weeks for the past 3 months. It is now the holidays and I have no way of buying presents for my friends or family members. This is ridiculous and needs to stop! I've already filed for a class action law suit.

Please sign this petition and help get this to stop!
