I am buying a car that I have not seen yet until the seller brings it. He says money can be left in paypal for 7 days whilst I decide and then I can send it back or if I want to go ahead I can then release the money to him. Is this possible?

Hi lisanm,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!
We can place holds on a payment but it would not usually be done under these circumstances. As motor vehicles are not covered under the Buyer Protection Policy we would not advise you to send the funds using PayPal and if you will be seeing the car in person it would be best to pay the seller directly by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
