buyer wants to cancel payment and pay again via a different method, item already shipped to them

I have an item which was purchased by a buyer in USA, they paid for the item and I have already sent the item to them.

They have now messaged to say that the money has come out of their bank account instead of their paypal account.  They say they have contacted Paypal who have advised them that I would need to cancel the transaction to enable a refund to them, then they would pay me again via Paypal.  

I'm hesitant to do this as concerned they will not make the payment again

Any help would be appreciated

Tell them its too late as the item is despatched, unless of course you want to take that risk?
