Missing money - transaction ID invalid

Hi, hope there is someone out there to help me... An ebay buyer has made a payment to me, but when I click on 'view paypal transaction', it tells me the transaction ID is invalid.

Worse still, when I log in to paypal and check my account history, there is no record at all of the payment arriving at my account. I've also noticed that my account is no longer verified (it was a week ago) could this explain it?

Where is my money, and How do I get it back?

This is also happening to me and i get the same when i click on check paypal transaction, it say transaction id is invalis invalid, and my account is verified and have sold items in the past with no problems

Hi Guys,

It sounds like you both may have listed an old or incorrect email address on your eBay sell your item form. I would suggest that you review your listing to confirm what email address your buyers have been requested to pay. If it is an old email address that you no longer have access to then I would suggest that you request your buyers to cancel and resend to the correct address. If it is an email address that you do have access to, go to your profile tab and add and confirm that email address and then your payment will come through.

Here’s how to find the email address you used in your eBay listing:

1. Go to www.ebay.co.ukand log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Sold’ in the ‘Sell’ section under ‘My eBay Summary.’
3. Click ‘Sell Similar’ under ‘More Actions’ next to the item you want to be paid for.
4. Find the email address you used in your listing under ‘Decide how you’d like to be paid’ near the bottom of the page.
