Hi! I've just sold my first item on eBay and sent via tracked and signed to prevent any INR happening. The buyer has gone radio silent on me when I've tried to contact him worrying me that he's going to try something, but he does have over 2k positive eBay feedback.
My predicament at the moment is this:
On eBay after I put the tracking information in, it works perfectly and shows the tracking information, however on PayPal it recognises the tracking number but when clicking onto said number it takes you to the Royal Mail website. This is a parcelforce delivery, and as such it isn't valid on the Royal Mail website.
Is there any way to change this so when the tracking number is clicked, it goes to parcelforce? Or at least shows the same delivery information as eBay? When I view the transaction on the classic site, at the bottom of the page it says Courier: Parcelforce, but it still links to the Royal Mail website.
My main concern is that seeing as PayPal and eBay both use different buyer protection/independant INR verification the buyer will manage to swindle me by saying the tracking number is invalid on PayPal, leading to an INR, and me losing out.
Can anyone help with this? Can't find an option anywhere to alter the courier service on PayPal.
