21 days pending?

I won the money for a ps4 game on a twitch stream and i have to wait 21 days..is there any way of getting the money quicker?

If you recently started to sell with PayPal and you don’t have any selling history with us, payments you receive (except eBay payments) are now being placed into your pending balance. As long as there are no problems with the transactions, you’ll have the money within 21 days.

Typically, you can access these payments within 7-14 days if you:

Send the item to the buyer’s postal address, as shown on the Transaction Details page
Mark the item as sent on the Transaction Details page and provide the dispatch details (for digital goods, mark the item as processed on the Transaction Details page).

Once you complete the below requirements, you won’t be considered a new seller any more, and you should receive future payments sooner.

Receive a predetermined number of payments
Wait a predetermined number of days from the date you received your first payment.

You can also view your remaining requirements and confirm your identity at any time by logging in to your account and visiting the Resolution Centre.

I am not a seller,he just sent me the money to buy a game i won on his twitch channel!

But if he sent the money using send money > goods / services then paypal would see you as a seller and the hold applied.

If he had used the send money > friends / family then you would have had it instantly.

Can i change this in anyway so i can get the money quicker?

I can't say really as i don't work for paypal.

But you could try getting him to phone customer services, explain he sent it the wrong way and ask them to release the funds to you earlier??

I gave them a ring and they sorted it out on the spot, as soon as i put the phone down the money was ready to use straight away..Highly recommend paypal..great customer support free to phone with no putting you on hold and messing you about!
