Why do I have 21 days hold when I'm not a seller

Hello, Im not a seller, I've work a job as a freelancer. Why do I need to wait 21 days to get my money?

I've worked it already and he pay me, then I need to wait this?

If your employer had sent the payment using the send money > family /friends option then you would have had the funds instantly.

But your employer must have used the send money > goods / services option and so paypal saw you as a new seller and applied the new seller hold.

You could ask him to phone customer services and explain he sent it using the wrong option and ask if they will release it sooner.

Use contact bottom of paypal pages and use the phone option which is free from a UK landline.
