How i change bank account details?

Hi there,

 

You would first need to remove any old bank details and re-add your new bank details.

 

You can link your bank account, enter your bank information (we’ll keep this private) by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
  3. Click My money under My Profile.
  4. Click Add my bank in the Bank accounts section.
  5. Select Checking or Savings account and enter your information.
  6. Click Continue.

Then just confirm your bank account to complete the process. If you bank online, you can usually do this instantly. If you don’t have online access to your bank account, it’ll take a few days.

I've changed banks and have sucessfully put the details in Paypal (now shown as confirmed); however I can't delete my old bank details! I keep getting a message saying that there is a transaction pending, and there is not. Recent payments continue to be taken from my old account. Help!

Hi Collyforbla,

 

Welcome to the community forum.

If you have sucessfully added and confirmed your bank account, try setting it up as a primary bank account. After doing it your payments will be charged from the new bank account.

 

 

Here’s how you can choose a primary bank account:

 

 

  1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
  3. Select ‘My Money.’
  4. Select the bank account you’d like to make primary.
  5. Click ‘Make Primary.’
