Friend sent me money, claimed, no show?

Hello,

My friend owed me some money so I asked him to send it me via PayPal. He's done it via my mobile number. I've done it before as a sender but I've never received the money via mobile. I've gone into the text message to claim the funds yet there is zero acknowledgement all over my PayPal that a payment was ever made? He has assured me he has paid on his side? 

Attached images are proof of the process. Any help?

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.

Please make sure you have confirmed your mobile number on PayPal.

As soon as you've added your number to your PayPal account we'll send you a text message with a confirmation code. Enter the code in your PayPal account to confirm your number.

Here's how:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Under 'Phone number', next to the number you'd like to confirm, click Confirm.
3. Enter the code and click Validate.
