Do I need to be resident in same country my business is incorporated?

I am resident in the UK but I own a company in the Seychelles which also has a bank account in the Seychelles. I'd like to apply for a business Paypal account for the Seychelles company but the signup form asks for the 'business owners' address and the country field is fixed to Seychelles. This would imply that the business owner has to reside in the same location as the company. 

Can anyone confirm if this is true? It doesn't seem like a reasonable requirement and I'd like to ensure that all info I provide is as accurate as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@PayPal_Rachael if you open a PayPal account in UK, they will ask you for your address in the UK. If your company is registered in Seychelles, then you can't change that address.

What I think the OP wants is to have a PayPal account attached to his Seychelles Business so whenever someone sends him business money, ABC Corp appears and not Nina Frank, for example.

@PayPal_david so as you say, we need to create a fake business with a fake address registered in the UK and if PayPal asks, we need to tell them that our business is in Seychelles? I don't understand.

BTW, what documents do PayPal need to verify an account 100%?

I understand that there are a lot of different scenarios and every business type is different.

As we have already advised, you should open a UK PayPal account and you will have the option to add your registered business information from The Seychelles there.

Your questions seem very specific and we can only provide general information based on a UK PayPal account. We would also advise that you should contact the local Companies House or equivilant within The Seychelles in order to have everything in order with them too.

How do I change my permanent address to another country?

I have permanently moved from the UK to Australia. I am unable to close my UK account because it shows a transaction as pending. When I try to contact PayPal in the UK I get phone numbers that I cannot access from Australia. When I try to contact PayPal in Australia the system automatically refers me to PayPal in the UK.  Where do I go from here? Any information gratefully received.
