Am I covered under buyer protection for a property/ caravan rental?

If i privately rent a caravan or holiday let for a week, am I covered if i arrive and it is not as expected?

Holiday rentals/deposits are not covered under the PayPal Buyer Protection Policy. I would advise paying through a Bank transfer.
