Paypal Scam?

I received an email allegedly from Paypal with links to "Tune up your website for better results." Since Paypal doesn't seem to offer services related to websites, I assume this is a scam, although it appears genuine.

Does it say the links are to go to your paypal account?  If so, it's a scam.

I got one from paypal today as well and sometimes they're legitimate - I just didn't bother with it.

The links go to https://email0.paypal.com/servlet/ plus a whole string of crap. It looks like it might be legit but when did PayPal get into SEO and website tuneups?

That's what the header of the link says.

What does it say in the bottom left corner of your browser when you do a mouse-over on the link?

My general policy on this type of email is - if I need the information, i'll search Google.

I'm suspicious when someone sends it to me gratis, and I generally delete them without looking at them.

To whom it may concern, today I received a service paypal e mail telling me this is my last chance to respond to the fact that some body is using my credit card frequently and I need to update and secure my account. It told me to click on the link to go to my paypal account and when I clicked on it my computer told me it was and unsafe site and not to open it. I did not open but I did want to report this to paypal to make sure that the two credit cards I have with you are still secure. Thank you for your cooperation. Tom Bornfleth
