I am trying to make a payment via paypal after being redirected from the Bonanza.com website. However, after entering my email address and password I get then directed to a site that states: Please enter your full bank account number in the space provided. To help protect your account, we need to confirm that you are the account holder. To confirm your identity, we will ask you a series of questions.
I have never every been asked to confirm my account number since joining paypal years ago, please advise why I am being asked this. When I log into paypal directly I am able to get right in and not be asked to confirm anything so this is rasing an eyebrow
Thanks,
George

GeorgeC- Well...that's a hard one to answer. We will, in some cases, want to verify your identity when you're making a payment. This would be for your security of course. But I couldn't rule out that it's a phishing site or something of that nature. Your best bet would be to give us a call and we can check and see if our system is trying to verify your identity. Should be a pretty painless solution. 🙂
