Has anyone had experience of buying an item, named as a designer piece, which several years later I discover to be a fake? I dont know how long records are kept in Paypal. I cannot find the details in ebay's Purchase History as they only go back 3 years. I trusted the seller that it was genuine, and as ebay are supposed to screen for fakes, I never thought the item was a fake, until I took it in to have it repaired. I then sent it for a full authenticatiuon, and it came back as counterfeit. Do I have any come-back with Paypal, or even can they find the transaction details, so that I can contact the seller and try to obtain a refund?
