In short...

Saw a fab looking quality phone case online.  Purchased in US $ 24.94

So an expensive case, website explained and showed fab looking quality product...

What turns up is a £1 item from china.  Quality shocking.

They want me to return at my cost and then may give me a part refund.  Offered a $8 refund.

I said no as it is not my fault the product they sent isn't that of the quality, look or feel that they showed online.

Paypal agreed that it was fine, even though they haven't seen the product.

Whats the next step..

Go to facebook and let the other buyers know the quality is rubbish and to review the product as never buy

Go to my credit card company whom paypal took the money out of and request a charge back for faulty goods

Close my paypal account ? and avoid in the future ?

Return item ?

Other ?

@stuartcp75

Personally I would do a chargeback via my credit card issuer as i always fund my paypal payments that way for extra protection.

Failing that I would write it off as a purchase that went wrong and move on.

What what you choose to do is up to you, however stuff bought from China normally turn out to be cheap tat or fake from the posts regarding SNAD claims we get on here so I would avoid in the future.
