I've reported a problem, but the resolution centre says I have no open cases

Hello,
I reported a problem with a transaction yesterday, because I want to apply for my buyer protection refund for a Monarch airlines ticket purchase which now obviously won't be fulfilled.
I've sent a message as per the 'Contact the seller form.' I know I'll need to go through the claim procedure next but the resolution centre displays 0 open cases, 0 closed cases, 0 awaiting feedback. Empty, basically. Tried to re-submit complaint to seller: dialogue box says 'You've already reported a problem.' What's happening? Do I need to wait until somehow develops into a case? Or is there a hold on Monarch claims?
Thanks!
Sophie

In the end I called 0800 358 7911. Every time the recorded message asked me to make a choice I said "Speak to an agent" and I got put through to one eventually, who has opened a case.
Hope that helps

I had this issue. I sent them a private message on Twitter and they were very helpful. Opened a case for me straight away.

I sent a message on Twitter one hour ago and I've had no response
Why are they making it so hard?

Jenny, was it the PayPal Support Twitter page you messaged? They have a general page and then a support page. Try it if you haven't already! Send them your email address and ask them to open up a case for you. Hope you get sorted!
