I recently sold a pushchair in very good used condition. After two weeks the buyer is saying it is faulty & they want a refund. They have sent pictures of damage which was most definatley happened since they recieved it. How can i prove i sold it in good faith. I have the original pictures i sent them which were taken the day before they agreed to buy.

Hey there jakof5,

Welcome to the community.

Has the buyer filed a dispute to say the item was not as described?

If so then it may end with the item being returned to you (at the buyers cost using tracking). If the item is returned to you and it isn’t as you sent it out let us know. We can then look into your side of it, as in you got it back not as it was sent to the buyer.

Sometimes buyers don't even send the items back as it isn’t cost effective to do so.

If there is no case open yet then see if there is some kind of agreement or amicable resolution you can come to with the buyer.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.

Hi yes they have filed a dispute and the payment is being held while paypal review the case.

If it goes in their favour will they still need to return it before it is refunded?

Yes, the only times paypal tell them not to return it is if it is a proven fake item.
