Help with Dispute Claim

Hello,
I bought something from a website, and paid through paypal after 3 weeks of not receiving the item i put through a dispute after many tries of contacting the seller and there reply being just wait, i went straight to a claim and now the claim stated that it would wait until the 16th december for the other party to respond however it is now the 17th december and it still says awaiting party's response, i also just tried calling paypal and it went through to customer service is now closed and after it stated that on a saturday it is open until 9pm can someone help me with whats going on exactly?.

Hey there,
If no response from the seller within the 10 days, the case automatically closes on the 11th day around the same time that the case was escalated at.
So if you escalated at 9pm then on the 11th day around 9pm the case will close.

Then what will happen when dispute is closed??
Then what will happen if seller are not response??
The main point is can we get back the money??

In my own case...
....I spoke to paypal an hour ago who assured me that should the seller not respond to a request for information in the given timeframe then the case is awarded in my favour.
However, I would suggest you call them after this time expires as, in my case, the agent I spoke to told me he would automatically set the case to close in my favour without further action on my part for, in his words, to save me another phone call.
I would strongly suggest and have said it many times on this forum, calling paypal directly is the only real solution if you want a quick resoluton.
The automated service gies a timeframe for both the buyer and seller but when this expires the cogs need turning manually to get the case moving.
Also, the paypal employees on this site seem rather selective as to which post they reply to, but I guess there's a lot to get through.

Chun, what JonnieS says is correct, if the seller does not respond within the 10 days provided then the case is awarded in the buyers favour and a refund is issued.
We do try and answer as many posts as we can, but as you can imagine this isn’t always possible with the shear value of them.

I was purchased a phone samsung galaxy s2 on preloved via paypal on 24.12.2011. Until today 4.1.2012 I still haven't get my phone yet and before that I and seller was contact through phone. But now his phone are unavaliable to call in. What should I do?? I had done the dispute claim on paypal, but the seller have not response. Can I get back my money?? Im just a student, this money for me is very important. Pls Help!!!

Yeah... i escalate to claim ald.. but the most important things is.. can i get back my money??? 230pound for me is not a small amount... And what further imformation will paypal ask for me?? Btw, My english is not very good, im so worry if they call me by phone.

What is the status of your claim, does it state 'awaiting a response from either the buyer or seller'?
As for your English, there is normally a paypal office in your country.
Phoning paypal is, in my experience, the most effectve solution.
Where did you buy the goods?
Hopefully this exchange will prompt a paypal employee to contribute to your case.

My status now is Awaiting other party's response....( The seller has been asked to respond by 13 Jan 2012. As soon as we hear from the seller, or if13 Jan 2012 passes with no response from the seller, we'll review this case and email you with an update.)
