Counterfeit Goods

 I purchased a Moncler Jacket in november and nly realised it was fake when i was in London in March and i went into the shop. I contacted the buyer, but they never got back to me, but Paypal wont do anything as its 117 days and the time to raise an issue is 90!! Why do Paypal think it is acceptable to let people sell counterfeit goods and not do anything about it.

These people are making a living selling to honest trustworthy people and are winning!! I actually thought it was illegal to sell counterfeit goods, but obvioulst not that illegal if Paypal are not prepared to step in and help. 

There should be no time to raise an issue for counterfeit goods.

Paypal gives you exactly the same time as a credit card does so would you ask your credit card if its acceptable to receive payments for fake goods and not do anything about it?

And actually you are incorrect paypal does not give you 90 days, suggest you read up on buyer protection and open a dispute.

Even if it were overtime as it is illegal to sell fake goods then you have the option to pursue the seller through the small claims court, not being able to raise a dispute does not stop you from doing that.

I have tried to raise a dispute but been advised it is out of the 90 days

You have up to 180 days to open a dispute in the UK with paypal.
