Yes.
You get full protection ( subject to the limits and requirements of the User Agreement) on ebay purchases.
You get non-delivery protection only ( subject to the User.......) on non-ebay purchases - No SNAD protection.
You get NO protection on virtual items.
Just like with every other payment.
A credit card is always a good way to pay for items on the net - you get more protection that way.
