About month ago someone did a charge back on me. Guy from Europe. I never sent money or received money from anyone in Europe. So they did a chrgeback of 105 dollars on me. They didnt show any proof of payment or anything, they just did a random chargeback on me. So now my paypal is -115.00 and i cant use it.

paypal has **bleep** me off sto bad, so im not even gonna use it anymore.

So my question is, If i go change my bank account, change my debit cards numbers and all, will that paypal -115.00 hunt me in the future?

Paypal is so **bleep** unsecure, i would never tel anyone to use it anymore. I used this crap for 2+ years, sent money every month to people, till this crap happened and paypal didnt do shiet about it but put my account in negative balance.

You will not be able to close your account if you have an outstanding transaction regardless of what actions you decide to take.

Unfortunately, Paypal is not the secure option so many of us think it is.  Scammers have learned to take advantage of our blind faith in using Paypal.  We are dissappointed when we find out the hard way Paypal isn't always on our side in these battles.

Like I, you have been scammed and Paypal will not step in and investigate the offence or take note of it to prevent it happening to anyone else.  I have been there and had to bite the bullet to the tune of $153.00.  They wouldn't even look into it.

Paypal is buyer friendly in these matters, not seller friendly.  Sorry you had to learn it the hard way too.

you didnt HAVE to use paypal, everyone has a choice, what you call a scam is more than likely just you not following the user agreement, there's always a risk when using any service, if you can't accept the risk, dont use the service

No, Sweetheart, a scam is a scam.  And you're right.  I no longer rely on Paypal as a protection or consider them completely safe for transactions, which was my point.  Paypal may serve a purpose but don't count on them to be there beyond just making the transaction. That is a useful bit of information to have right up front if you are doing business, buying or selling, over the internet.

Paypal is Buyer-Friendly and Seller-Friendly only in the sense that they have made a name for themselves that most people feel safer using.  Again, it is a false sense of security that will only hold till the media gets ahold of the information and does a story on it.

Scammers have figured out how to use Paypal to their advantage and we need to take the same precautions we would with any other credit card service and stop thinking of Paypal like a saviour of some kind for our financial transactions.  It just makes you more vulnerable if you aren't aware of the possible threat.

I understand what your saying but my point is if you follow that agreement and read and understand it, you will be safe from "scammers" most cases where people loose product and money is simply because they dont have a tracking number, which protects you more than anything, people dont have that and next thing you know you have a chargeback because someone claims INR, and thats it, or if say you buy an item and its not what was described, file a SNAD complaint and when you return it have tracking to prove you sent it back, I'm telling you these simple things protect both buyers and sellers from "scams", however there are exceptions of course but these are the most common issues that people have

I think that people are talking about using Paypal outside of Ebay. If you read the user agreement, there is no protection for the buyer if the seller has a tracking label and a package was received. There is no coverage for you if you accept a package. It then becomes INAD, and empty box is considered Not as described....You did receive an item after all and that item is now the item you purchased, it's just not as described. So enjoy your empty box, or box of crap if that's what they decided to send you.
