I purchased an item on a forum classified and they seller wants me to pay by check.
If I pay using the echeck will my purchase be covered if the seller doesn not send the item?

By using an e-check you would still be covered by PP for an item not received or significantly not as described but you would not have chargeback rights. This could mean this seller has been burned before by a buyer filing a chargeback on his credit card or it could mean this seller is a scammer. Can you confirm anyone else having a good transaction with the seller? Also, how long has he been a member of the forum?
Hope this helps
