How do I get a refund?

Hi:

On 5/7/2010 I bought an item.  On 5/14/2010 I had not received confirmation of shipment, so I contacted the seller.  The seller told me that he does not ship to my zip code (00907, San Juan, PR).  How do I get a refund?

Go to the security section in your paypal account and file an "Item not received" dispute.

When you get the money, take out a contract on the idiot and have him whacked.

This is actually a followup post with the same question.  I received goods that I believed were not as advertised and I started a dispute and then escalated to a claim. 

I then received a message that I was basically out-of-luck because the guarantees and warranty only cover goods not received - not goods that were not as advertised and thus essentially not what I ordered.  I live in North America and the seller lives south of the equator.  What court do I go to in order to file a small claims action??????

Really.

But first, try an easier way - If you used a credit card to pay for the item, file a hargeback by calling the customer service number on the back of the card
