merchant won't issue refund

I recently made purchase via craigslist by accident using my pay pal account. After choosing my payment method ( to see what fees and taxes would be at checkout ) my account was drafted. The merchant advised all sales were final after calling to dispute the charge. I have created a claim with pay pal and my bank. Anyone had this issue before? If so, What's the turn around on getting the money credited back?

PayPal will try to resolve disputes within 30 days. If you are issued a refund:

Issued refunds are returned to original funding source. Arrival times may vary:  

- Bank payments, 3-5 or 5-7 days, depending on your bank. 

- Cards, about a week, up to 30 days depending on your issuing card. 

- PayPal balance, fairly instant. 

- Split payments between PayPal balance and card/bank, see above.

Be careful of disputing with bank and PayPal at the same time. One of them will refuse to touch the case and you may lose out. If the bank ends up telling you to contact PayPal and PayPal sees that you have disputed with your bank, they will refuse to help. This exact thing just happened to another user and PayPal refuses to help, so be prepared for the fallout if it happens.
