Hi,

My account was permanently banned for no reason and i had no ways to withdraw the money from paypal. I have since lodged a police report as paypal keeps giving me automated robot response. 

This is the worse company and cannot believe that the amount is still stuck in the account. It is a large amount of money to me and i am shock to learn that it can happened on a platform that is supposedly trusted....

Please help....

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal holds any funds for 180 days as that is the same time frame that buyers have to open paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened against you in 180 days then 'normally' you are allowed to withdraw the funds as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Your best bet is to wait until the phones are back up and running and then phone customer services so that you can speak to an agent.
Then they can help advise on how you can withdraw the funds if and when you are allowed to do so. OR ........

i Just reached the paypal office here in singapore. They are saying that their customer service hotline is not available and they are unable to do anything. We should seriously boycott this company.... I believe they are suffering from severe cashflow issues. That is why they need to do such things.

I made a big hooha and they said that the escalation team will contact me within 24 hours but they cannot do anything. Thus, i called the police on them to made my stance clear that i am here with serious concerns.
